Jasmine Danielson
Jasmine grew up serving alongside her family in homeless, prison, and skateboarding ministries, where she developed a deep love for connecting with people from all walks of life. While living in Arizona, she started her own homeless ministry, one centered not simply on providing food, but on building genuine relationships. Through these experiences, she discovered that one of the most powerful forms of healing is knowing someone believes in you.
Every person is uniquely and wonderfully made, with inherent worth, purpose, and the ability to grow through life's challenges.
Jasmine is currently a master's student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University and brings nearly six years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She enjoys working with clients across the lifespan and believes healing happens in relationship. Just as we are designed to live in community, she strives to build a genuine therapeutic connection where clients feel accepted and empowered to navigate life's challenges with confidence and hope.
Jasmine does not believe clients come to counseling because they are broken. She believes they come because they have been carrying more than they were ever meant to carry alone.
In her work with clients, Jasmine offers support and guidance as they safely explore their experiences. Together, they work to lighten the weight a client has been carrying, recognize their strengths, and grow into who they were created to be.
Her approach draws from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, using mindfulness, journaling, and practical coping skills to build resilience. Her goal is for clients to leave each session with tools they can carry beyond the counseling room.
Outside of counseling, Jasmine enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time outdoors, where she finds peace in creation. She also has a deep appreciation for music and art, and believes creativity can be a meaningful avenue for self-expression and healing.
